Eric gets drawn deeper into his nefarious profession by his longtime mentor Smoke, a jovial but deadly serious kingpin, who gives "E" a major, albeit unwanted, promotion. Mark wallows in his self-pity.

While grappling with the mental anguish of his perilous lifestyle as a drug dealer, Eric receives an unwanted house guest. Amber's big audition doesn't go as planned when she meets Chuck. The "Hood Twins" do an about-face.

Carmen's dream of the high-rise corner office comes crashing down as her overbearing boss, Claire, demands she bring Mark back. No love is lost between Carmen and Mark upon his return. Carmen goes to the Doctor.
