In an effort to uncover the truth about what happened to famed fashion designer Marion Bellerose, college student Lily MacKenzie interviews Marion’s business partner and prominent style icon, Vanessa Ivy. Vanessa leads Lily through the details of the tragic night that changed everything.

Lily shares her plans to infiltrate Vanity - the clothing label formed by Marion and Vanessa - with her best friend Zoe. Lily realizes the key to entry is not Vanessa - but her stylist Johnny Reyes, whose controversial reputation precedes him.
