The Worst Witch

Mildred Hubble is now at Weirdsister College. To her dismay she finds her new roommate is none other then Ethel Hallow. She meets a cad named Hobbes but finds a new friend in Cas Crowfeather. Millie sheds some excess hair. No uniforms and boys. The new students of Weirdsister are put through a test, to see if they are strong enough.

A new teacher arrives at Weirdsister, American Dr. Andy Starfinder. A machine that stores up all The Foster's Effect created by the school during the week goes haywire. Mildred, Cas, and Ethel learn that rules are there for a reason.

After Starfinder sets the class some homework, Hobbes decides to take things "out of his league". Hobbes makes a stone Gargoyle come to life.

Money worries abound and all the students are in trouble as the college tries to fund a new time-traveling project. Misery's cafe, the local hangout, is nearly shut down. Luckily Millie and the gang know what to do.

Mildred gets super-charged with magic, after Ethel lets go of her hand while being given a magical boost. Millie receives special powers because of Ethel and causes chaos when she decides to attend a jazz concert at Misery's.

Hobbes has feelings for Millie, and wants to ensure she has feelings for him too. Hobbes experiments with his new dream catching invention and makes Milly wake up with a crush on him.

Dr. Starfinder is working on a machine to "get around" the Fosters effect; little does he know that Foster comes to him. The students are informed of the Fosters Effect. This rule, discovered by Doctor Foster, prevents magic being used for selfish or trivial reasons. Mayhem ensues as the 'missing' Doctor Foster contacts the college after having gotten caught in a spot of bother.

Elaine finds out that she has the seventh sense; meanwhile, Tabby (Mildred's cat) gets into some bother. Mildred is distraught when a spell used to freeze her cat causes him to fall ill. Ben also finds out Milly's true identity and finds it all a bit to much after a near death experience.

The students celebrate the founders day of the College. The witches take on the wizards at the Agony games. Who will win? Hobbes is back to his old tricks. And he and Ethel clash. Is this the end of their friendship ?

Enid Nightshade, an old friend of Millie's from Cackle's Academy, arrives at the college, and Mildred gets more than she bargained for.

Professor Shakeshaft starts pining for someone he once knew, so attempts to invent a spell to travel back in time; little does he know that Hobbes want his share.

With the help of Hobbes, Starfinder has created the Accumulator - A machine which captures and stores negative magical energy inside special eggs. Hobbes has another cunning plan and with Ethel's help they secretly create 12 eggs to continue the research of Misgone Magic. As the power from the eggs surges forth a ghostly specre of a man emerges from the wall and sucks away Hobbes's will. Is this the end for Nick Hobbes?

Hobbes wants to open the gates of power; unfortunately for him, Mildred and her friends are on the case.
