The Emperor and I

KIN LUNG inherits the throne of being an emperor when he is still young. One day, he goes hunting and he is lurked. When he wants to convince the assassins to surrender, UK YI TAI arrives and kills all of them. Being trusted by the former emperor and the mother queen, TAI is pride and tries to build up his sphere of influence in the royal family. TAI wants LUNG to marry his daughter but LUNG is discontented. So he brings SIU KWAI CHI and leave the palace so as to experience the living of common people. One day they arrive at Shuzhou. They enjoy the scene very much but LUNG's valuables including his jade chop are stolen by PUT FUE. LUNG discovers and chases after her. Meanwhile a merchant from Guangzhou also come with his wife and son - MIU CHJI FA and FONG SAI YUK. YUK sees LUNG chasing after FUE and for chivalry, he stops LUNG. They have a fight with even destroys a memorial archway.

As LUNG and FONG have destroyed the memorial archway, they are brought to the yamen. LUNG does not want to disclose his real identity and he prefers to be punished. At last LUNG and FONG become friends as both have been cheated by FUE. TAK and FA scold YUK for what he has done. FA learns martial’s arts from Ngor May Sect but she does not want YUK to learn it. However YUK is so clever that he is able to learn it by peeping at FA. LUNG and YUK find FUE. FUE rushes to her brother TUNG CHIN GANG who is the leader of workers at the port. He knows that FUE is wrong and thus he makes apology for her. Moreover he appreciates YUK and LUNG and they become good friends. At the same time, GANG's opponent LUI LO FU come to ask for a duel. YUK and LUNG help GANG to drive FU away. FU is discontented. When FU knows that TAK has just arrived at Shuzhou with a lot of money, he tries to flatter TAK and invites him to be his business partner……

LUNG tries to stay away from the spies. When he meets YUK, he tells YUK that he is threatened by some thieves. YUK tries to stop them but he is defeated. Though he is tortured, YUK does not tell them where LUNG is. LUNG observes this and is impressed. Therefore LUNG promises to leave with the spies so as to save YUK. Suddenly a masked woman comes and kills all the spies. LUNG is attracted by the charming eyes of the masked woman and he thinks FUE is the one and this creates many chaos. TAK wants to run a wine-mill. This is a difficult task to FA as FA loses her self-control easily after drinking wine. FA has promised TAK not to drink wine any more. FU is unhappy to see TAK's business running good and he leaves some snakes in TAK's mill. This spoils the business. FA uses her talent and knowledge to turn the situation. On the other hand, FU's wife LI SIU WAN and daughter LUI KIU return from Shanghai……

The owner of the eyes is SUNG KIM PING while her brother FOK MING is the owner of the boat. In order to attract her attention, LUNG spends a large sum of money to make PING the champion. However PING regards LUNG as some common rich men and ignores him. LUNG does not give up. KIU and THOMAS's school start to enrol students. LUNG, KWAI and YUK apply to be students to learn new knowledge. YUK also wants to approach KIU. FUE is jealous and works a janitor in the school to keep an eye on YUK. YUK realises that FUE admires him but he does not want to be entangled. TAK comes across WAN in the street. WAN and FA learn martial arts in the same school and both love TAK. At last TAK married FA and WAN married FU. Their meeting is known by FA and FU and this causes arguments in both couples. On the other hand, there are many cases of kidnapping. FU is asked to tackle the problem and he has a plan……

In fact MING and PING are descendants of Ming Dynasty. They run the brothel to revolt against Ching Dynasty. They kidnap rich men so as to get money to achieve their goal. However they are tricked by FU who pay them with stones. They are nearly caught and their plan is spoiled. YUK and KWAI attend school and YUK admires KIU. One day FU and WAN go to visit KIU and as they find YUK and LUNG, they have a fight. YUK and LUNG are save by the janitor FUNG LO SAM. They suspect that SAM is a mighty fighter but they have no evidence. One day they save SAM who is attacked by his enemies. They realise that SAM is good at martial arts an they beg SAM to adopt them as his students. SAM promises them unwillingly. As the mother queen and TAI worry about LUNG, TAI sends his nephew FOK KAY YING to search for LUNG. YING is famous for his martial arts and he has arrested many rebellious people for the royal family……

As YING is a mighty fighter and he is cunning, he defeats MING and PING. MING and PING escape. YING orders the local government to handle the case with great care. PING is disappointed and she is annoyed with LUNG's entanglement. To attract her, LUNG and KWAI disclose FU's filthy acts with posters. PING knows it and understands LUNG's intention. PING promises to accept LUNG as her friend and KWAI has more chances to stay with YUEN. YUEN admires KWAI but KWAI has no choice as he is a eunuch. KIU takes FUE's words which back bite YUK. She does not want to compete with FUE and wants to give up. YUK rushes to explain to her and at last manages to win over her heart. Meanwhile KIU seals her identity of being FU's daughter as she knows that YUK hates FU. She feels frustrated. YING comes across KIU and is attracted by her. In order to flatter KIU, he appoints FU to be in charge of the case of dealing with rebellious people……

GANG's place is burnt by FU. GANG is hurt and imprisoned. FUE does not know what to do. VUK and LUNG promise to help her and this makes her believe that VUK still loves her. KIU also misinterprets VUK's intention and quarrels with her. At last VUK declares that he loves KIU only. KIU persuades FU not to accuse GANG but FU ignores her. He just wants KIU to marry YING so as to increase his sphere of influence. KIU has another plan. She goes to see YING and asks him to set GANG free. YING promises her and luckily VING is requested to return to Beijing and KIU knows that she can be freed from YING. Meanwhile LUNG sends KWAI to the palace to get money. When KWAI knows that YING has got a picture of LUNG, he replaces it with another portrait. GANG recovers and invites YUK and LUNG to rob FU's casino for vengeance..

Though they are not familiar with robbery, YUK, LUNG and GANG finish their task. SAM laughs at them and they beg him to teach them the ways. SAM instructs them to form a Tiger Buster Gang. FUE joins them too. FU is discontented to see his business being spoiled. He arranges a trap and YUK and LUNG are tricked. Luckily KIU pretends that she has been caught by YUK and is kept as the hostage. YUK is angry to know that KIU is FU's daughter. This imposes a curtain between them. MING and PING discover that Tiger Buster Gang is organized by YUK and LUNG. PING appreciates LUNG. YING returns and this fighters LUNG. LUNG feels relieved when KWAI tells him that he has stolen the portrait. FU tells YING about Tiger Buster Gang and he suspects YUK and LUNG. FU tells YING that YUK seduces KIU and this drives YING crazy. In order to take KIU, YING asks FU to arrange duels and the winner can marry KIU.

YUK cannot help disclosing his love of KIU in the duel. FU is angry and beats YUK hard. Luckily FA saves YUK. KIU worries much while FU and YING are unhappy to see YUK still alive. TAK goes to beg WAN to bridge YUK and KIU. FA is jealous and fights WAN and this spoils TAK's arrangement. On the other hand, FUE takes care of YUK and refuses KIU to visit YUK. The duel continues an YING waits for the best chance to attend. KIU has no idea of the pre-arrangement. YUK recovers and begs SAM to teach him Drunken Buddhist Punch. SAM promises at last. However YUK cannot have the breakthrough. YUK attends the duel and he is nearly killed by FU. SAM throws him a wine bottle and this sparkles ideas in his mind.

YUK defeats FU and he feels guilty to see KIU who worries about FU. YUK does not feel happy and he brings FA's medicine to visit FU but he is driven away by WAN. He is frustrated. FU is seriously hurt but his life can be saved. However YING does not want YUK to marry KIU, he kills FU and blames YUK. WAN and KIU are taken it by his plan. YING announces that though YUK wins the duel, he cannot marry KIU as he has killed FU. YUK wants to explain but in vain. He indulges in alcohol and one night he hugs FUE, thinking that she is KIU. When he wakes up, he thinks that he has slept with FUE. He is depressed and he decides to leave. YING wants to terminate YUK and sends assassins to lurk him. YUK is endangered ..

YUK seeks help from LUNG. LUNG and KWAI protect him and they take refuge in a small boat. They are exhausted and fall asleep. When they wake up, they discover that the boat has drifted away from the coast. At last they arrive at Peach Blossom Island. They find that the dwellers are descendants of CHENG SING KUNG and they aim at rebelling against Ching Dynasty.YUK and LUNG are invited to join the islanders and they do not know what to do. On the other hand, YING wants to flatter KIU so he builds a school in memory of FU. He asks rich men to donate money so as to achieve the aim. KIU is impressed. YING begs KIU to marry him and KIU does not refuse. Meanwhile MING and PING are invited to Peach Blossom Island but they do not meet LUNG. There are some pies sent by YING and they send messages to YING to inform him. YING gives ordef to get rid of all the people……

YUK hates soldiers of Ching Dynasty as they carry out massacre on the island. Nationalism takes root in YUK's mind. LUNG does not know how to convince YUK. Being he dies, the master of the island gives LUNG and YUK the jade chop. They escape with it. KWAI is happy to see LUNG and YUK being save and return. TAK and FA are also excited but no one dares to tell YUK that KIU has married YING. At last YUK gets wind of the marriage and this makes him depressed. YUK begs the others to arrange a meeting with KIU for him. However he does not know how to express himself when he confronts KIU. YUK indulges in alcohol and no one can stop him. They just hope that YUK will forget the case soon. GANG finds that FUE is bearing a baby for YUK and YUK is in a dilemma as he does not love FUE but he has to shoulder the responsibility. One night YUK and LUNG are led by a masked man to the temple where they find MING and PING.

MING and PING invite LUNG and YUK to assist them against Ching Dynasty and to give them the jade chop. YUK promises and LUNG also agree reluctantly. On the other hand, the doctor tells FUE that she is not pregnant. In order to keep YUK, she pretends that she is having one. However YUK discovers the facts and he scolds FUE of having deceived him. FUE is depressed and she threatens YUK that she will become a nun. However YUK does not change his mind. as FUE does not have the courage to be a nun, she stays in the temple as a janitor. YUK feels relieved and always goes to visit KIU. YING pretends that he does not mind but at the same time he sends MAN to disturb TAK. TAK tolerates the humiliation and this makes YUK and FA look down upon him. However they are surprised to find that TAK is also a colleague of PING and MING ...

TAK explains that he coward behaviour is used to protect his real identity. FA and YUK are excited. LUNG is frustrated as YUK involves in fighting the royal family. LUNG finds that he loves PING and he tries convince her to give up rebellious work. However PING tells him that she will only marry him when her task has been fulfilled. TAK gets the news that the emperor has left the palace. PING and MING think that it is the best time to assassinate the emperor. LUNG is frightened. YUK suggests to spread the news so as to force the emperor to appear. YING hears the news and knows that it is spreader by rebellious people. He works hard to find LUNG. On the other hand, KWAI shows 0ff by disclosing the jade chop after he has drunk too much wine. When he wakes up, he finds that he is in YING's house. YING suspects him and at the time being, TAI arrives and he forces KWAI to tell where LUNG is……

PING, MING and YUK are surrounded but they do not surrender. YUEN is killed and MING is caught. MING is bribed by YING and he changes his attitude. PING and YUK escape but they worry about MING. MING returns and claims that he has managed to escape. He suggests to call a meeting to gather all anti-?Ching rebellious people to figure out a plan. They agree with him. KWAI misses YUEN and LUNG also misses PING. However he cannot escape from TAI. YING tells TAI that he has controlled MING and he has a plan to get rid of all their foes. KIU is shocked to know that YUK is involved and wants to inform him. She seeks WAN's help. As WAN misses TAK, she goes to tell TAK. However she is rejected by FA and they have a right. When all concerned have arrived, TAI surrounds the place with his troops. PING and YUK are shocked to know that LUNG is the emperor. They think that they are betrayed by LUNG and they determine to kill him ..

After being attacked by TAI's troops, all rebellious people disband. PING, FA and MING fun away together while they lose contact with YUK and TAK. FA worries much. PING conciliates FA. TAK is saved by WAN who brings him to the store from of YING's house. YUK is hurt and takes refuge in a temple and he is saved by FUE and KIU. LUNG can do nothing to save them and he is brought to the palace by TAI. KIU and WAN worry that their act will be discovered and when they realize that they have saved YUK and TAK, they make them reunite. YING knows what they have done but he pretends that he knows nothing so as to wait for a chance to catch all of them. KIU and WAN think that they have tricked YING. They bring YUK to see TAK and they are lurked. YUK thinks that he has been betrayed. However as he sees how hard they try to protect him, he knows that he is wrong. YUK escapes but TAK is arrested.

YING scolds WAN and KIU. For WAN's sake, KIU shoulders the accusation. As YING loves KIU, he promises not to punish them. WAN is sick as she is exhausted. KIU takes care of her and incidentally overhears that YING is the one who kills FU. KIU is in deep grief and leaves YING. She takes temporary accommodation in a church. YING thinks that KIU cannot forget YUK and sends henchmen to kill YUK. YUK is saved by FUE and on the way, they meet GANG. GANG is hurt when he tries to protect YUK and before he dies, he asks YUK to take care of FUE. At last they meet SAM. On the other hand, YING is discontented to know that YUK has managed to run away. He tortures TAK though WAN begs him to release TAK. YING becomes drunk and he goes to the church. There he wants to rape KIU. His filthy act is in vain, so he sets the church on rife. Meanwhile YING is instructed to escort TAK to the capital……

The masked man is LUNG and he tries to convince PING to give up her rebellious act. PING realises that her act is only a dream and even her brother betrays her. She promises to stay with LUNG. However the queen mother and TAI force LUNG to kill PING. TAI wants to take a faster step before LUNG can stop him but LUNG arrives just in time. PING knows that LUNG really loves her. On the other hand, FA is also caught and she meets TAK in the prison. They are happy to see each other but still worry about YUK. LUNG wants them to serve him but they refuse. PING begs LUNG to set them free but LUNG states that it is not the suitable time. YUK regains his courage with SAM's assistance. YUK swears to seek vengeance on YING. As PING Is protected by LUNG, TAI wants to poison PING...

PING is poisoned and dies. He changes his attitude and tries to flatter TAI. TAI thinks that LUNG cannot stand the shock. He thinks that he can grasp all the power and thus he orders YING to catch YUK. As YUK cannot get rid of different ideas, he cannot understand the essence of SAM's martial arts. Meanwhile YING leads his henchmen to lurk them. SAM is killed for YUK. YUK and FUE has to run away and they meet KIU. LUNG feels relieved to know that YUK has not been caught. In fact he is planning to get rid of TAI. At last he kills TAI. However other officials advise him to deal with YUK. LUNG is trapped in a dilemma. LUNG sends YING away and he instructs KWAI to tell YUK so that YUK can seek vengeance. YUK feels suspicious ...

KIU and FUE does not want YUK to go as YUK has not understood SAM's martial arts completely. However YUK does not want to miss the chance. YUK challenges YING with a duel. When he is on the brink of death, he realises the essence and kills YING. He is also hurt.KIU and FUE take care of YUK. FUE leaves as she thinks that YUK still loves KIU. However YUK wants her back as he knows that he loves FUE. KIU is also happy. She blesses them and goes away with the father. YUK and FUE arrive at the capital. LUNG wants him to work for the royal family but YUK refuses. Therefore they decide to terminate their friendship and they become foes. LUNG decides to kill TAK and FA. YUK rushes to save them but he is trapped. In this duel who will be the winner?
