HUNG CHAT likes eating very much, thus he follows LO YAU KURK to the headquarters of Beggars' sect to enjoy the "Beggar's Chicken". There he witnesses the master CHIN HOK SING being lurked by subordinates sent by YUEN NGAN HUNG KIT. SING drives the enemies away and he appreciates CHAT's chivalry act. CHAT is not a good fighter though he has many friends. He wants to join the Dirty Stream o-f Beggars' Sect but he is objected by his family. CHAT and KURK come across SUET YUE. By mistake, they become enemies and often tease each other. YUE takes a rest under a cliff and is hut by a lager piece of lock. Luckily she is saved by the Emperor of Tai Li TUEN MAN CHUNG. They become friends. CHUNG wants to meet SING and YUE leads the way. However they meet CHAT. She tricks CHAT to -fight with CHUNG and CHAT is defeated……

TIT SHAN wants to be the master of Beggars' Sect but in vain. There-fore he works for Kam to fulfil his dream. LUI TING escorts KIT to China so as to plan for their future invasion. When they want to kill SING, YUE is also there. KIT stops TING as he does not want YUE to be hurt. HING meets YING who is a diver. He thinks that YING has met an accident and tries to save her. They meet some huge waves and have to take refuge in a cavern. Love germinates between them. LAU KWONG was famous for his technique in making swords. This put him in danger. His wife died for him. Therefore he lives with his daughter YING. He hates fighters so he opposes YING to have HING as her friend. YI wants to be the Emperor of Tai Li so he tries to flatter Kam. LAM is instructed by TING to kill CHUNG as he cannot finish his work, he is punished by TING. HING passes by and wants to help him but is refused……

HING is surrounded by killers and luckily YING comes to save him. YING is hurt and HING takes care of her. Love grows steadily in their hearts. YING worries as she cannot find KWONG. YING gives HING "Bleeding Sacred Sword" so as to thank HING. This makes the others aware of KWONG's identity. YI goes to Ling Chau Palace to prove HING's identity. After that he kills the princess and destroys the palace. YAN runs away with LAN. CHAT and YING organize a fund ra1s1ng programme in the market for the refugees. KIT is attracted by YING and he wants to trick CHAT so as to impress YING. SING is discontented and fights with him. SING is poisoned by KIT. CHUNG misses LAN and YI takes to chance to deceive him by asking KIT to impersonate HING. HING returns and sees the mess. He finds a badge of the Tuens and rushes to Tai Li to take revenge. ?

KIT tries to flatter CHUNG, hoping that CHUNG will teach him "The Sun Finqer ". However CHUNG does not promise as KIT' s internal energy is not strong enough and this may hurt him. CHUNG brings KIT to Tin Lung Temple. On they way, they meet HING who wants to take revenge. HING is stopped by YAN and LAN. LAN tells him that he is CHUNG' s son. CHUNG and LAN were lovers. As CHUNG had to return to Tai Li to inherit the throne, LAM had to stay behind. She was shocked to learn that CHUNG got married. Therefore she went to Ling Chau Palace and brought HING up. YI takes LAN as the hostage and threatens CHUNG to appoint him as the next emperor. In the fight LAN is killed when she tries to protect CHUNG. SING is poisoned and he asks CHAT to bring him to see WONG CHUNG YEUNG. However YEUNG is out and they see CHAU PAK TUNG. TUNG cures SING. SING requests TUNG to find the spy in his sect TOY him……

CHAT, SING, HING and YAN are separated. HING is saved by YING. YING is disappointed to know the engagement between YAN and HING. TUNG has snake phobia and as he sees YING able to control snakes, he is impressed. Although he knows nothing about love, he +eels happy to be with YING. However, YING is disappointed with HING and she leaves. CHAT and SING take refuges in a mine and discovers that KIT and TING are mining so as to make weapons for their invasion. KWONG is kidnapped and forced to make weapons TOY KIT. CHAT and SING set him Tree. Accidentally CHAT drinks the blood of Gold Silvery Snake and he becomes mightier. SIING appreciates CHAT's character and adopts him as his apprentice. CHAT leads SING and KWONG away and they meet YING. SHAN uses YUE to take medicine to poison SING. CHAT is unable to stop it as he likes eating……

CHAT inherits SING's throne to be the master of Beggar's Sect. However SHAN accuses CHAT as a spy sent by Kam. HING also accuses CHAT. CHAT has no way to defense and is locked up by SHAN. YUE trusts CHAT as innocent. She thinks that her father has been tricked so she tries to bridge CHAT and her father. In fact SHAN knows the truth and he wants to get the scroll and Beating Dog Stick from CHAT. CHUNG wants HING to accept him as his father but HING cannot forgive him as CHUNG has abandoned his mother and him for twenty years. HING and YAN want to stay away from all the troubles and they take refuge in Maple Leave Valley and they discover the "Maple Leave Scroll". HING decides to be an avenger after he has finished studying it. YING is caught by KIT who wants to make KWONG appear. KWONG knows his trick and he goes to see SHAN. He takes to chance to assassin him but in vain……

SHAN goes to attack CHAT for the scroll. YUE and CHAT are pushed down a cliff. Everyone believes that they have been killed. Later YUN and SHAN go down the cliff to find the scroll. They find the scroll and YUE sees her father's evil act. However SHAN has taken the forged copy while CHAT gets the real one and learns martial arts from it. SHAN announces himself to be the new master as he has the scroll and stick. KIT takes YING as hostage so as to force KWONG to see him again. KWONG arrives and is killed. YING is grievous. TUNG tries to calm her down. HING and YAN come across LAM who has been punished by TING and suffers from pain. They become good friends. TUNG finds HING and tells him that CHAT has died. HING feels guilty as he thinks that he should be responsible for it. CHAT has a solution to cure YUE. He breaks her leg and then fix it up again. YUE is cured. ?

SHAN finds the scroll is a forged one and he goes down the hill again. He finds CHAT and YUE and he forces CHAT to give him the real copy. CHAT is mightier than before and defeats SHAN. YI invites TING to help him to catch CHUNG and forces CHUNG to appoint him as the new emperor. CHAT arrives and set CHUNG tree. YING knows that LAM admires HING and she +eels ashamed as LAM is still willing to take care o+ her wholeheartedly. LING is instructed to catch LAM but she does not want to kill innocent people and releases LAM. Members of Beggars' Sect id discontented with SHAN who tries to flatter Kam. However no one can opposes him as he has the stick. CHAT learns from HING that SHAN has betrayed the country. They go to deal with him. In the -fight CHAT is hurt by TING when he wants to protect HING. At last all o+ them are hurt.

LAM goes to steal the medicine but is discovered by LING. Finally LING is convinced by LAM and LAM can take the medicine away. As there is only one pill, HING tricked CHAT to take it and he has to suffer. YI knows that it is CHUNG who can cure HING. Therefore he proposes that if CHUNG gives him the country, he will let him go to save HING. For the sake of his people, CHUNG refuses. HING loses his self-control and nearly hurts his friends. When he regains his consciousness, he wants to kill himself. YING stops him from attempting the foolish act. TING lays traps to catch HING and the others. LING goes to inform them and is hurt. As CHAT knows that she has changed her attitude, he decides to cure her. CHUNG sends subordinates to save HING and this impresses HING and improves their relationship. HING agrees to take the surname TLJEN and learns martial arts from CHUNG. YI attacks CHUNG and CHUNG is seriously hurt……

Kam wants to +latter HING who is the new emperor of Tai Li but he refuses. This wins HING support from his officials. TING sends people to lurk LAM and HING comes to solve the situation. YING thinks that HING has changed with the presence of YAN and LAM and is sad. As TUNG admires YING, h is discontented with HING and scolds him. SHAN announces that Beggars' Sect will support Kam and the members are very angry. CHAT arrives and proves that SHAN is a betrayer. They have a duel. CHAT wins it and drives TING and KIT away. He becomes the new master. CHAT does not kill SHAN +or YUE and gives him a chance to repent. KIT knows that NGOT FEI has a scroll stating military arrangement. He wants to get it as it is helpful. YI stirs up the people to force HING to give up the throne. TUNG and YING spoil his plan and HING kills him for LAN.

As LAM gets hurt when she wants to protect HING, HING promises to take care of her. YAN loses her beauty as she has been poisoned. Therefore she makes unreasonable acts, hoping that HING will give her up. However HING wants to calm her down and announces their marriage. YING is not disappointed with the news, instead she tries to cure YAN. TUNG knows YING's feeling and kidnaps YAN on the day o+ marriage. HING +allows him and begs YAN to marry him. YING is happy to see HING marrying YAN. She decides to be a doctor. TUNG finds YUN digging FEI's tomb and stops him. Later he tells CHAT about it. CHAT suspects YUN's act and carries out investigation. KURK and the others do not forgive SHAN and suspects that he has poisoned CHAT. SHAN begs them to set him free and at last he leaves the sect. TING sends LING to question YEUNG about FEI's scroll. CHAT passes by and is alert……

When YING wakes up, HING is sad to find her having lost her memory.

CHAT and YUE love each other and decide to get married. On the day o+ marriage LING catches YUE and forces CHAT to make a choice between YUE and her. CHAT takes YUE and LING is depressed. LING wants to terminate her life and luckily CHAT stops her and gives her courage. YING shows no sign o+ recovery and suddenly she disappears. HING goes to find her and they meet a storm. They have to take refuge on a remote island. Although YING cannot recover her memory, love germinates again. CHAT worries about HING. He postpones his marriage and sends subordinates to -Find him. KIT leads troops to attack Tai Li in the absence o+ HING. CHAT comes to help and drives KIT's men away. YUE is discontented with CHAT who neglects her. SHAN tries to counsel her. SHAN is still affected by hatred an with KIT's help, he regains his internal power. He decides to destroy Beggars' Sect……

KIT asks SHAN to mine some fireworks to kill all members of Beggars' Sect at the night of CHAT's marriage and SHAN promises KIT. LING does not want the massacre to happen and tells CHAT. CHAT arrives in time to stop SHAN and hurts him. SHAN asks YUE to take revenge for him before he dies. YUE is shocked and believes that LING has falsely accused SHAN. She is also angry as CHAT has not kept his words. She wants to kill LING but CHAT does not allow her to do so. YUE misunderstands CHAT and decides to leave him. LING determines to repent and begs CHAT to adopt her so that she can fight against TING. HING takes KIT to Ngot Wong Temple to accuse him. KIT feels being humiliated. KIT swears to take revenge. He sends YUN to lurk HING. HING is seriously hurt and drops into the sea. HING is saved by YING who takes him to Chung Yeung Temple.

On their way, YING and HING are attacked by YUN again. Luckily their are saved by WONG CHUNG YEUNG who also brings them to the temple. YUE goes to the temple and meets YING and HING. YING discloses her love of HING in front of YUE. YUE blames that YING has spoiled YAN's happiness and YAN is going to give birth to a baby. YING feels guilty and decides to be a nun. HING wants to stop YING and meanwhile VAN also arrives. VAN agrees HING to have both of them. KIT catches YUE and forces her to take poisonous medicine. He threatens her to find CHAT and gets the scroll in ten days. YUE meets CHAT but then she sees LING, she is jealous and runs away. YUE decides to make CHAT suffer. She accuses HING taking FEI's scroll so as to stir up the troubled water. CHAT does not believe. In order to take CHAT in, YUE kills herself and claims that she is killed by HING. CHAT and HING become enemies.

HING suspects YUE's intension of killing her-self. After investigation, it is found that she had been poisoned before her self-killi.ng. He rushes to tell CHAT but CHAT regards HING lying from his own sake. HING and YING get married. Although TUNG is upset, he goes to congratulate them. CHAT is shocked by YUE's death and he wants to take revenge. He learns martial arts wholeheartedly with LING's assistance. YAN gives birth to a baby and HING brings him to the temple. LING arrives and takes the baby away so as to get the map -from HING. LING is inexperienced in taking care of babies and she hires a village woman to take the job. YING does not want HING's son to be hurt and she begs CHAT to help HING in finding the baby. CHAT agrees and starts the work , HING baits TING with the map and TING is trapped. In the duel, YEUNG comes and save HING from the dangerous situation……

TUNG knows that he has committed something wrong and he does not want to face the others. He leaves YING and runs away. KIT backbites CHAT in from of the Emperor of Sung, making him believe that CHAT has the map of treasury and is also to rebel against him. The Emperor is deceived and sends subordinates to get the map. CHAT is unable to make any explanation, thus he instructs the elders of the Beggars' Sect to be in charge of all cases in his absence. Meanwhile he takes refuge in Maple Valley with LING. HING finally figures out where the scroll is. He sends people to inform CHAT. TUNG incidentally discovers that he has been tricked by TING and he goes to question TUNG. On his way, he meets YEUNG who punishes him. HING knows that TUNG should not be blamed. He asks TUNG to go away with YING.

TUNG knows that YING cannot forget HING. He does not want YING to stay with him reluctantly, so he leaves. YING feels ashamed and is inferior in front of HING. However she cannot go as she bears a baby for TUNG. Although HING is not happy, he requests YING to stay. TUNG wants to take revenge. He attacks YUN but in turn, he is surrounded by his people. HING comes and saves him. HING knows that TUNG does not want to commit the incidence, he is willing to forgive TUNG but he is still sad. CHAT finds that his strength drains away gradually. In fact, he has been poisoned by LING who hopes to stay with CHAT forever. LAM discovers LING' s plan and wants to stop her. However LAM is killed by LING. LING requests CHAT to marry her. However CHAT claims that YUE is the only one he wants. LING is so angry t.hat; she tells CHAT YUE' s trick……

When CHAT and LING are fighting, KURK comes and drives LING away. CHAT is saved. HING gets the scroll and trains his troops with the methods stated. CHAT is angry to know it and wants to get it back. HING knows that there is secret compromise between the emperors of Kam and Sung. He is afraid that CHAT will give it to the emperor and this will make Kam strong and conquer Sung. CHAT misunderstands HING and they become enemies. LING becomes mad and she tricks TUNG so as to bait CHAT but in vain. KIT kidnaps some elders of the Beggars' Sect and CHAT is forced to confront him. CHAT has a duel with TING. KIT also tells CHAT about YUE' s trick so as to shock him. LING wants to kill KIT by giving up her own life and she is seriously hurt. CHAT is impressed and promises to be intimate to her , Later CHAT is in deep grieve to know that LING has been poisoned. YEUNG cures CHAT with "The Sun Finger". ?

At last YING gives birth to a boy. YUN hurts him as he wants HING to cure the baby with his internal energy. HING will become exhausted and YUN can have a chance to kill him. YING begs HING to cure her baby. As HING is jealous, he refuses YING. YING is depressed and she kills the baby, hoping him to suffer less. HING feels guilty but it is too late. Thus he gives CHAT the scroll. TUNG takes revenge for his son and he defeats YUN, pushing him down a cliff. For justice, HING accepts CHAT's idea and they trick KIT and TING to attack them. They want to spoil the Kam's plan.
