This is one of the more advanced rations from China. Used for the first 3 days of combat before self-heating meals and then field kitchen food is established, this is almost like a Chinese CCAR or FSR, but much more compact. It features food that is enriched with nutritional supplementation that makes this ration effective in the environment that it's used in, which is high altitude cold climates where there's less oxygen and higher strain on the body during heavy exertion.

The Norwegian AFR is one of the best combat rations in the world, and this menu is no exception. Although it's vegetarian, I found it to be very filling and sustaining. It even has fruit soup in it. There was one change that I consider a downgrade though and that's the wooden spoon. It may be better for mixing hot drinks and mains and is likely cheaper in cost as well. But outside of that and the fact this one doesn't have any meat in it, I'd say it's still outstanding.

A double 24 hour MRE review featuring a 2023 Italian Module C Combat Food Ration, a classic canned ration with a fantastic variety of components and accessories. The second one is an incredibly well made lightweight freeze dried 24 hour ration issued to the Alpine Mountain Infantry with a 2024 date of production. It has instant pocket espresso, scrambled eggs with ham, and more.

Check out this amazing Croatian 24 hour ration which has some of the best food and snacks in any MRE. All it's missing are a few accessories that could make this MRE a little more effective and easier to use out in the field. Food that you'll want to eat time & time again. A bit of a throwback in a way to rations of the 80's & 90's, but with a bit more to it in terms of palatability and nutritional value.

This incredibly well stored and preserved ration really hit the spot. Sweet & Sour Pork is one of the best LRP menus. This menu also features a couple other awesome components including a certain compressed food bar that is now even more rare since I ate this one. What an absolutely amazing ration, built to last and this example here was well preserved.

With shelf stable pickled salad, fried rice, pork chow mien, an effervescent beverage and delicious food bars, the Chinese PLA has come up with an effective cold weather ration that has reasonable nutritional value and utility overall.

Two MCWs are checked out in this review. Chicken Fajita Bowl and Homestyle Chicken Noodle Casserole. The newest Meal Cold Weather features Mountain House Pro Pak main courses. This is the new and improved shelf life and functionality packaging that brings the best before date up to 30 years. First Strike bars have been softened. Those were too hard to chew, forcing the soldier to stow them away in a warm coat pocket for a couple hours before they could take the chance to eat it without possibly pulling a filling or something.

MKS is back and better than ever with this year's menu lineup. The breakfast menus make it possible to have a portable continental breakfast buffet anywhere. Cheese spreads, pound cakes, and all the good stuff. I am not a paid spokesperson for this product, just a customer who enjoys these MREs and reviewing them. These perfectly preserved legendary MRE menus were some of the best examples of each of these omelets that I've ever seen. Never before seen footage that was part of a really long video that was never released, this video ends a bit more abruptly as there were originally 6 rations in the video. This was the best part in my opinion. This is how to properly eat veggie omelet especially. What an amazing pair of pioneering historical MRE menus.
