In Stone Ridge, Virginia, within commuting distance of our nation's capital, Alexandria designer Shazalynn Cavin-Winfrey takes on Washington, D.C. designer Eric Kole, leading to a huge clash of design styles as well as their totally opposite personalities. Working in matching model homes, with two completely different approaches to the same five rooms, these highly competitive designers have one week to complete a dining room, rec room, master bedroom, living room and a challenging combination kitchen-family room. Then, potential buyers from around Northern Virginia tour the finished homes, which could not be more different looking, and their votes pick the winner of this Showhouse Showdown.

In historic Claymont Delaware designers, Quentin Eshleman and Nile Johnson, show that there is more than one way to create exciting interiors in a multilevel townhouse, bringing in some edgy details and surprising elements. With everything from a 23-foot-tall striped wall to a bejeweled alligator, Quentin and Nile design the same five rooms on the same budget, but the houses look so different in the end it's hard to believe they ever looked the same. In just a week, working in matching townhouses, they finish the dining room, a powder room, the master bedroom, the kitchen and a very problematic but prominent landing. Then the potential local buyers tour the finished townhouses, and their votes pick the winner of this Showhouse Showdown. Both designers hit some real highs and lows along the way, so it's anyone's guess who will win.

In Oklahoma City, two local designers, DeLisa Oakes and Deemah Ramadan, show that there is more than one way to pop the interiors of a traditional suburban home, bringing plenty of charm and shine to the plains. With surprises like walls that sparkle and medieval ceilings, Deemah and DeLisa design the same five rooms on the same budget with amazingly different finished products. In just a week, working across the street from each other in two matching houses, they finish a dining room, a master bedroom, a second bedroom, a kitchen and a living room. Then, the Oklahoma City locals tour the finished houses, and their votes pick the winner of this Showhouse Showdown, but these things rarely turn out as planned.

In the heart of California, two totally different designers, Christine Ubbink and Nathan Fischer, take on identical model homes to make over 5 rooms ranging from a retro-glamorous master bedroom to an eye-popping bright den. With diverse masculine and feminine elements, and everything from sculpted flowers to wainscoting going up everywhere, Nathan and Christine stretch their creativity and budgets to the limit, along with their nerves. In just a week, two houses that started out the same look totally different, as our designers create a dining room, a kitchen with a nook, a master bedroom, a den and a spacious great room. Then the potential home-buyers in the Fresno area tour both of the finished houses, and their votes pick the winner of this Showhouse Showdown. And you never know which way the local market will go until we throw open the doors.

Cranberry Township in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania takes center stage when two Pennsylvania-based designers with very different creative visions take on identical model homes to design 5 original rooms each, ranging from a kid-friendly family play room to a mood-setting master bedroom retreat. In just seven days, both designers create a kitchen with a sunroom, a master bedroom, a master bath, a study, and a great room.

National Harbor, Maryland, right across the Potomac River from Washington D.C., is the site for this week's showdown where two very different designers from our nation's capital go head to head. They design five rooms each in the same multi-level townhome, ranging from a 4th floor entertainer's loft, to an eat-in kitchen full of glamour and sophistication.

From the Great Lakes state, Corey Damen Jenkins and Michelle Mio, two local Michigan designers with completely different tastes, take on identical model homes to produce 5 original rooms each, ranging from an opulent European wine room to a master bedroom with gravity defying end tables. In seven days, both our designers create a master bedroom, a dining room, a kitchen, a study, and a great room. At the end of one short week, two houses that started out identical now look completely different vibe.

Oakmont, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh on the Allegheny river, is the home of this showdown, featuring two Pittsburgh-based designers. With very different visions, they show that there is more than one way to design cutting edge interiors in a multi-level dwelling. Competing in almost identical model townhomes, they design five original rooms each, ranging from a dynamic dining room with a floating fireplace, to two very unique spins on a ground floor bonus room.
