On his birthday, Nikolai wants to take his family to the dolphinarium, but everyone has urgent things to do. When Rylov is left alone, uninvited guests come to him.

Dasha marries three men at once. When she visits her parents, all three spouses come to her. Dasha has to try so that the husbands do not suspect the existence of each other. The situation is complicated by the visit of the dean Sergei Borisovich, whom Rylov's daughter must please in order to pass the exam.

The Rylovs decide to rent out a room to raise the family's income. The tenant turns out to be a gangster Dubosos, who wants to take revenge on Nikolai for having arrested his relatives. For revenge, he provokes a fight between Rylov and the rest of the family: he inspires Nikolai that Evdokia, Dasha and Marya Gavrilovna are members of a drug syndicate, while the criminal convinces women that Rylov is a sexual maniac.

Nikolai immediately declares that he is not going to share the winnings with his family. Then the mother-in-law, wife and daughter conspire to lure out money by cunning. But then it turned out that the prize was not money, but ... yogurt. With grief, deceived by advertisers, Rylov wants to drown himself in it.

Ivan Danilovich comes to visit the Rylovs and announces that he is going to make Kolya a captain. Dusya, after consulting with Dasha and her mother, decides not to poison Rylov yet. While they are consulting, Nikolai persuades Colonel Sharpening to play a small performance in order to bring the treacherous wife to clean water.

The local doctor establishes that Rylov is ill with dropsy of the brain and he has only a few days to live. Dusya, without waiting for Nikolai to die, begins to look for a new husband and is already finding a suitable candidate, when it suddenly turns out that the diagnosis was incorrect, and Rylov may have another deadly disease - AIDS.

On New Year's Eve, millionaire philanthropist Harry Abramovich Katz comes to visit the Rylovs and says that he will celebrate the holiday with them, and then give them a million dollars. Later it turns out that in order to receive money, all family members will have to have sex with Katz. Women are happy to give themselves to a philanthropist, but when it comes to Nikolai, he spoils everything.

Rylov with a senior partner come on a call to Nikolai's apartment, where the corpse of Sergei Vadimovich lies on the floor. Evdokia is convinced that the killer is Rylov. Nikolai's partner, who did not have time to remember him, instructs Rylov to sit in an ambush and wait for himself. Sitting in ambush, Kolya learns that in fact Sergei Vadimovich is alive, and his murder was played out by himself and Evdokia with the intention of putting Rylov in prison.

A woman bursts into Rylov's apartment, fleeing a maniac killer. She learns from Nikolai that his wife has been in prison for a week, says that she would like to cheat on her husband, and invites Rylov to dance. While dancing, she stumbles, falls and dies. Similarly, by chance, deputy Selyodkin, who visited Marya Gavrilovna to offer her to marry him, and Dasha's friend, Arab Abdullah, die. Under the leadership of Marya Gavrilovna, the Rylov family gets rid of the corpses, but Felix Valeryevich Merzotin, the Rylovs' neighbor with disgusting habits and an abnormally large right ear, who guesses about the deaths, does not let things get hushed up just like that.

Two screenwriters begin writing the script for a series about a hospital. The action begins with the arrival at the hospital of Boris Ivanovich Kozlovsky, the "new Russian", wounded during the assassination attempt. Kozlovsky, threatening with a gun, demands elite conditions for himself, the staff is trying to satisfy his demands. In Ward No. 6, a welder and an intellectual lie with Kozlovsky. Soon, the chief surgeon drops in on Boris Ivanovich, inquires about his health and hands him several magazines, informing him that on the cover of one of them is a photograph of his wife Adelaide. Kozlovsky and his mates look at the photo and find out that each of them at one time made acquaintance with this woman.

Wasserman steals Kozlovsky's pistol and agrees to delay his discharge only for a fee. He lies to the welder and the intellectual that they are terminally ill and offers to pay for the healing serum, but they, having no money, refuse. A killer enters the hospital, to whom Boris Ivanovich was ordered. Kylo and Himalayan, having drunk alcohol, decide to lie in wait for the head physician and beat him. When the killer enters the ward, they mistake him for Wasserman, stun him and take away the machine gun. Threatening with a machine gun, friends convince the head physician to give them the serum.

The head physician Wasserman goes to prison, and the head physician Mantu replaces him (to save money, the producer decides that the same actor will play Mantu, so Mantu differs from Wasserman only in his mustache). While Mantou makes his rounds, Wasserman, who escaped from prison, sneaks into the office of the head physician. When Mantu enters the office, Wasserman injects him with sleeping pills, rips off his mustache and sticks it on himself, and hides the body. Soon, the frightening nymphomaniac wife of the head physician Mantou visits him. Desperate to satisfy her, Wasserman turns to the patients of ward number 6 for help, but Mantou's wife rejects them. Then Wasserman takes off his mustache and returns to prison. Chief Physician Mantou is once again in charge of the hospital.

The anesthesiologist Botkin invents an elixir of love and asks Mantou for permission to test it on patients. Mantou disagrees. Then Botkin zombifies Manta with a gas of complete submission (another of his inventions) and takes over the management of the hospital. He orders Masha to bring tea with the elixir of love to the patients in Ward No. 6. The patients drink tea, fall in love with Masha and pursue her. Masha calls the orderlies, the patients are put on straitjackets. Soon, Dr. Botkin orders to release the patients and take tests from them. On the basis of jealousy, patients pour sugar into each other's urine, as a result, all three are sent for surgery. After the operation, Masha visits the sick and admits that she loves Dr. Botkin, but he does not notice her.
