Password (1971)

Overview

"From Hollywood, the word game of the stars!" Password returned to daytime television in 1971, this time on ABC. Gameplay was similar to the previous run of the show. But faced with increased competition from soap operas, the show introduced a celebrity-only tournament called "Password All-Stars" in the winter of 1974; viewer demand led to return to civilian contestants in a modified two-round format in early 1975.
