As a single career woman, Qiqi's work is often affected by her mother Feng Huang's patriarchal beliefs. Shine, the upcoming newbie also threatens her position in the company.

Qiqi's bestie Jieling, drags her to a fortune teller where she learns that The One will soon appear.

After being pulled out, Seo Joon is determined to save the female lead, So Yeon. Qiqi confirms that Seo Joon is indeed the drama character and is shocked.

Qiqi pretends to be So Yeon in desperation and succeeds in getting Seo Joon to take over Tae-woo and finish the shoot. This also means that she must continue imposing herself as So Yeon in front of Seo Joon…

Qiqi takes time off to spend time with Seo Joon. However, after listening to her co-workers, she cuts her holiday short, worried Shine will replace her. Qiqi insists on taking on Shine's project, but realises her methods are dated and she's limitations.

Michael puts Shine and Qiqi each in charge of an advertising campaign and gives the best resources to Shine.

Jieling learns from Lee Soo Jung, scriptwriter of My Venus boyfriend, that Seo Joon was meant to be animated and affectionate.

Qiqi encounters her younger self and gets an idea for the makeup advertisement. Qiqi shares her idea, is faced with objections from the younger women in the team, but gets commended by the chairperson, Lawrence.

Shine and Qiqi become friends. Qiqi decides to bring Seo Joon home but Jieling stops her. Shine meets scriptwriter Soo Jung, eagerly encourages her to create a remake of My Venus Boyfriend and to let Tae-woo be the male lead. Soo Jung laughs it off, embarrassing Tae-woo.

Seo Joon learns that he is a fictional character and leaves home! Shine wants Tae-woo to be the male lead, but he pretends not to care. Qiqi meets Lawrence, thinking she can get her dream job but is put in a difficult position instead.

Seo Joon asks Soo Jung for the intention behind creating him. Qiqi encourages Seo Joon to live his own life. The next day, Seo Joon wants to help Qiqi fulfil her Caf dreams!

Seo Joon does not confess his feelings for Qiqi. Soo Jung picks on Tae Woo's acting. He is infuriated finding out the audition clip used was actually Seo Joon's performance. Seo Joon initiates a meeting with Tae-woo.

Seo Joon's disappearance is a false alarm. Shine tenders her resignation to Tae Woo. Seo Joon becomes weaker, but he continues to run the Cafe with Qiqi.
