Following the route of the disused railway line from Scarva To Banbridge and Newscastle, Co Down, musician James Galway meets people who worked on the line and gives a history of the areas through which the railway passed.

Broadcaster Olivia O'Leary traces the route of the disused railway line from Bagnelstown, Co Carlow to New Ross, Co Wexford built by the crippled Arthur McMurrough Kavanagh M. P. in the mid-19th century.

Niall Toibin traces the route from Cork to Blarney by railway.

Presenter Oz Clarke traces the railway line from Stranorlar to Glenties, Co Donegal which closed in 1948. Now a section of the line is being re-laid in the Finn Valley.
