Kathy and Martin Powell, their teenage children Noah and Jessica, and Kathy's sister Megan and her family, go on holiday in Turkey. What seemed like the perfect vacation takes a dark turn when, after a beach party, Noah is arrested for sexual assault.

Kathy and Martin visit Noah in prison, where the gravity of the situation knocks both parents sideways. Kathy implores her son to be brave, but his lawyer has some grave news.

The court hearing is a mortifying experience for Noah. Megan flies home and confronts Steve about his suspicious behaviour. Meanwhile, Kathy opens old wounds with Martin, and a violent attack leaves Noah scared for his life.

Underlying resentments between Kathy and Megan erupt, while their marriages grow increasingly strained.
