Aboard a sleek chopper he designed himself, a biker makes the trek from Long Beach, California to loudest, wildest motorcycle jamboree in the world in Sturgis, South Dakota. Follow the exploits of the famed Jesse James, owner of West Coast Choppers.

Jesse James is back with another dose of mayhem in the biggest and baddest installment of the hit series, Motorcycle Mania. As the pressures of fame and fortune mount, this master bike builder must do what he can to save his sanity and his soul.

This two hour special hosted and narrated by Jesse James will explore the true essence of a chopper. Jesse will profile the pioneers of the chopper movement, the unsung heroes whose ingenuity and creativity have inspired him and other chopper builders of today. To best depict the history of the chopper, Jesse will restore the bird bike -- an old 1969 bike he bought off a pick up truck 15 years ago. It's all custom, no straight tubing to be found anywhere this bike embodies the real attitude and meaning of a chopper and Jesse will explain why. Jesse and the guys from West Coast Choppers put their heads together to figure out how to restore the bike to its original 1969 condition, everything from the frame, to the gas tank to the motor. HISTORY OF THE CHOPPER will chronicle the entire restoration.

Jesse James returns to tackle the only discipline he hasn't yet mastered - how to forge metal. Jesse travels to Israel, where 73-year-old world- renowned blacksmith Uri Hofi has agreed to mentor him.
