A malicious software program called “Speed Monkey” is used for the first time on French soil to kill a Russian journalist by causing a car accident. Colonel Zeev Abadi is then called back by Unit 8200, the Israeli army's technology service, to find the person who sold this software, which was developed in the utmost secrecy. He crosses paths with Captain Fleur Giroud, who is investigating the disappearance of an Israeli citizen, Yaniv Meidan, at Roissy airport. The two cases could be linked... Duran, head of a security company, and his right-hand woman, Karen, are searching for a micro SD card recovered by police officer Giroud from the belongings of the murdered Russian journalist. Abadi learns more about Meidan's disappearance. Giroud realizes that Abadi hasn't told her everything. They decide to share the results of their respective investigations when Tom, Giroud's son, is kidnapped.

Abadi, who retrieved the micro SD card to help Giroud, attempts to have it decrypted by an old acquaintance, Elsa Atkine. Abadi and Giroud realize that Karen is linked to both Meidan's murder and that of the Russian journalist. Thanks to Oriana, a young woman from Unit 8200 who helps Abadi remotely, they discover Karen's true identity, who then offers them a deal: Tom in exchange for the micro SD card.

Karen no longer needs to make the exchange with Giroud and Abadi because Elsa, who also works with Duran, has already retrieved the micro SD card. But Tom manages to escape and is injured. Abadi discovers that Meidan was killed by mistake and that the real target was a certain Yeremy Yereminsky, who works in the Israeli army's listening unit. But he's not the only one looking for him; Duran has already got his hands on him. Yeremy is in possession of a recording that compromises Duran and his boss, Russian oligarch Rogov.

Tom is found unconscious in the forest. Abadi realizes that Elsa has tricked him. On his way to her office to confront her, he is kidnapped by Elsa's henchmen, a Chinese gang. At the same time, Giroud discovers Karen's hideout and decides to go there with his intervention team. They don't find Karen there. Meanwhile, Oriana and her colleague Ronit discover that their boss, who is also Abadi's boss, is linked to the escape of the “Speed Monkey.”

Giroud manages to recover Karen's computer. She realizes that Duran and she are planning an attack during a summit bringing together heads of state at the Tech Fair held near Paris. Abadi, freed from the Chinese who were holding him prisoner, goes to Elsa Atkine's house to question her, but the meeting goes badly... Oriana sends Abadi the images that allow him to understand who leaked Speed Monkey. As Abadi heads to the Tech Show to confront the culprit, he and Giroud prevent the worst from happening in a final, violent confrontation with Karen, who has come to settle a personal score by force...
