Eul Chook and Eul Soon are born on the same day and time. Because of this, they have a shared destiny. But because of that shared destiny, Eul Chook becomes a successful actor as You Philip while Eul Soon lives an unfortunate miserable life. Meanwhile, they cross paths with each other as adults by coincidence.

Philip doesn’t get stabbed and gets rescued. Eul Soon realizes that Eun Young has been fooling her, but it’s too late. This makes Eul Soon visit her mom’s grave and try to bury her script. Meanwhile, Philip happens to come to the same area to participate in a variety show.

Eul Soon finds that there was a landslide on her way back home. She manages to rescue Philip and Yong Man, but she gets back home as soon as the ambulance arrives. Later, she gets a meeting with Philip and gets her chance to explain that she is the original writer of “A Ghost’s Love Story”.

Philip gets furious as he sees that the script for “A Ghost’s Love Story” was written as if Eul Soon has seen what he has gone through. He rejects to work with Eul Soon and leaves, but Eul Soon doesn’t give up. Meanwhile, a body is found where Philip was trapped by the landslide.

Philip and Eul Soon are terrified as they hear the news about Ki Eun Young’s body being found from the landslide. Eul Soon receives a text telling her to come to the fifth floor of Corina Residence, and she thinks it might be from Eun Young. Meanwhile, Philip sees Eun Young at the event in Gyeongkwang Hotel and chases after her.

Philip is saved again by Eul Soon, but he’s upset to see that it’s her again. Tae Shik and Yong Man visit a shaman and are told that bad things would keep happening to Philip unless they find and get help from the woman with earthly energy. Meanwhile, Philip decides that he has to make Eul Soon stay with him and starts to try what he can to do so.

Philip gets angry at Eul Soon as he finds out that she didn’t tell him what she wrote even when she wrote about what would happen. Sung Joong visits Philip’s house to pick up Eul Soon and sees a woman coming out from there. Meanwhile, Philip feels sorry towards Eul Soon and decides to do her drama under the condition that she tells him what she wrote before giving it to anyone else.

Sung Joon gets very upset as he hears that Philip agreed to do the drama if Eul Soon moves into Philip’s house. Because of Sung Joon’s complaints, Philip decides to take things his way by another method. Meanwhile, a press conference for “A Ghost’s Love Story” is held, and Eul Soon sees something horrifying there.

Eul Soon panics as she sees a vision of Philip getting shot, so she tries whatever that came to her mind first to change the flow. She sees a glimpse of the man who could’ve shot Philip and remembers that he was the same man who she met on the day Eun Young disappeared. Meanwhile, Philip receives shocking news from Yoon Ah.

Yong Man and Tae Shik go to the fifth floor of Gyeongkwang Hotel to check the security camera there, but they get shocked to find something unexpected. Philip wants to trust Eul Soon, but she refuses to tell him what he wants to hear. Meanwhile, Eul Soon gets taken by the police for questioning.

Eul Soon gets questioned at the police station, but Philip comes to her rescue. As they get out of the police station, they meet an old friend of Philip and discuss about which other friend would hold a grudge on him. Meanwhile, Sung Joong visits Eul Soon’s house to tell her something.

Sung Joon tells Eul Soon to give up on “A Ghost’s Love Story”, and Eul Soon gets shocked to hear this. As Eul Soon takes a bath, she sees that Philip might be in danger. Realizing that she might be too late, she tries to change the flow of the story. Meanwhile, Philip gets worried about Eul Soon and tries to help her.

Philip receives a surgery after being shot, and meets his mother in his dream while recovering from the surgery. Meanwhile, Eul Soon visits Philip’s hospital to check his condition and runs into Eun Young. Eun Young tries to remember the place where she was abducted.

Philip wakes up but asks Tae Shik and Yong Man to keep it a secret from Eul Soon as he does not wish to hurt her again. Eul Soon visits Philip and thanks him for everything that he has done for her. Meanwhile, Sung Joong finds a suspicious car in the picture taken by his staff member and hands it over to the police for further investigation.

Philip starts shooting the drama and asks Sung Joong to hire Eul Soon again. Eul Soon starts working at Philip’s home but Philip asks her to leave as he is afraid of her getting hurt again. Meanwhile, Yoon Ah asks Eun Young to get rid of Eul Soon’s drama, “A Ghost’s Love Story”.

Eun Young appears on a TV program, saying that she is the original writer of “A Ghost’s Love Story”. Eun Young tells the story behind Philip and Dong Chul. Meanwhile, Dong Chul calls Philip and asks him to help him as he keeps seeing a ghost of Soo Jung.

Eul Soon decides to throw away the necklace into the ocean and make her own fortune. Things don’t seem to go as she planned as she and Philip keep get-ting themselves into trouble as soon as the necklace is gone, but Philip tries his best to help her. Meanwhile, Philip finally speaks out his feelings for Eul Soon.

Sung Joong tells Philip that he likes Eul Soon. Philip waits for Eul Soon to come for work. When he hears someone typing the keyboard in the house, he thinks that Eul Soon came to work without calling beforehand. However, just as he is about to bring in something to drink, Eul Soon comes in the front door.

Eul Soon gets scared that she might get abandoned by somebody as Philip makes his move. The private investigator Yoon Ah has sent gets caught. Eul Soon realizes that Sung Joong was the kid that followed her around when she was young. Meanwhile, Philip get furious as he finds out that Yoon Ah has been digging into him and Eul Soon.

The first episode of “A Ghost’s Love Story” gets aired. Eun Young and Eul Soon agreed to be co-writers, but Eul Soon senses that something is strange with Eun Young. Meanwhile, Philip visits Sung Joong and figures out that the ghost lingering around himself was someone he knew.

Philip sees the ghost of his mother at the old dumpling shop and hears her say something strange. Sung Joong reveals that he has been seeing Eul Soon every eight years too. Detective Lee visits Eun Young to ask a few things and finds her very odd. Meanwhile, strange things happen at the filming for “A Ghost’s Love Story”.

Philip gives Eul Soon’s mom a ride home and tells Eul Soon that she should go write the next script. As they speak, Philip realizes that his own mother must’ve raised Eul Soon after abandoning himself. Meanwhile, Yoon Ah tries to make Eul Soon get out of Philip’s house by telling her why Philip brought her in the first place.

Eul Soon realizes that she and Philip met for a reason and decides to break up with him out of fear. Eun Young gets horrified after seeing what she has written. Detective Lee successfully manages to stop Eun Young from leaving the coun-try. Meanwhile, Philip feels uncomfortable after seeing that Eul Soon is smiling now.

Philip decides to move out and let Eul Soon return to her old house. They keep their distance after their breakup, but Eul Soon’s mom asks Eul Soon to return the money she borrowed from Philip. Meanwhile, Eun Young finds out what Yoon Ah did eight years ago.

Sung Joong visits Eun Young’s apartment after receiving a call from her, but he finds strange things there. Eul Soon tries to avoid telling Philip about what she heard that would happen when she turns 34, but Philip is persistent. Meanwhile, Tae Shik sees Ra Yun’s ghost and shudders in fear.

Philip wants Eul Soon to be honest to him, so he keeps asking her about what she heard from his mom. Eul Soon and Sung Joong look for the script for part 14 of “A Ghost’s Love Story” that Eun Young mentioned, but Eul Soon finds something else instead. Meanwhile, the detectives investigating Eun Young tell Philip that Yong Man was with Sung Joong when Eun Young was found.

Philip tries to knock down Eul Soon’s old house. Eul Soon stops Philip and tells him that his mom tried to save him even until the end from the fire eight years ago. The detectives think that there must’ve been a connection between Dong Chul and Eun Young. Meanwhile, Dong Chul is spotted again.

Eul Soon and Sung Joong visit a shaman for advice about their drama storyline. However, he sees that Eul Soon has nothing in her destiny after becoming 34. Sung Joong feels upset to see that Eul Soon cannot see him even if he’s always by her side. At the same time, Sung Joong gets worried as he sees things again.

Eul Soon’s truck rolls down the hill, and Sung Joong barely manages to stop her. Sung Joong tells Philip and Eul Soon that he saw a ghost making the car malfunction. Yong Man tries to sneak into Yoon Ah’s house, but she takes him out first. Meanwhile, Eul Soon and Philip figure out that Yoon Ah set the fire eight years ago.

Philip’s mom persuades Ra Yun’s spirit to calm down and leave with her. The drama, “A Ghost’s Love Story” finishes filming the last episode. However, something unexpected happens at the party after their last filming. This strikes Eul Soon and makes her realize what it means to be with Philip.

Philip and Eul Soon come across each other again. Philip is heartbroken, but Eul Soon seems to be fine. Sa Dong Chul is seen at Soo Jung’s memorial, so Philip and Eul Soon chase after him. However, Dong Chul manages to run away and tells them to meet him later.

Philip comes to talk with Eul Soon, but he waits outside her house all night in vain. Eul Soon tries to find the fortune teller that told her parents to do a ritual. Meanwhile, Sung Joong visits Philip to persuade him to work for the new drama he and Eul Soon is working on.
