Karl & Max

During a weekend fishing trip, Karl, Max and Yvon find an accident-damaged car. Inside is a blood-soaked unconscious man but also a bag containing a gun and lots of money. The car explodes. They decide to keep the money and hide the bag at the fishing camp.

Shocked by Yvon's sudden death, Karl and Max are stunned to learn that the fishing camp has been ransacked and the money has gone. They learn that the car driver was Greg Nesterenko, a member of the Satan's Bulls. Officers Julie Robert and Martin Hervieux begin their investigation.

Karl and Max realize the seriousness of their situation. Max wants to protect his girlfriend Dominique by keeping the truth from her, but the situation undermines their relationship as a couple. Flower, the hitman, is looking for clues at Heron Lake. He finds Yvon's chalet.

Max and Karl receive an unpleasant surprise visit from Flower, who gives them an ultimatum: they've got 24 hours to get the money.

Jacob has vanished. Max believes he's been kidnapped by Flower, but dare not tell Dominique. Confronted by Karl, Flower decides to help Max to find his son.

Max and Flower come to the aid of Karl, held prisoner by Greg Nesterenko. Julie Robert continues her enquiries, which lead her to Lou Guérard, the leader of the Satan's Bulls.

Karl and Max plan to steal the safe from the pharmaceuticals firm. Julie's investigations put her on the duo's trail. The noose tightens around Karl and Max.

Between Flower, the theft of the safe from the factory and Greg Nesterenko, who plans to use them against Lou Guérard, Karl and Max's lives are spiralling out of control. Especially when Julie Robert arrives to question Max.
