I'm going all out this month, covering 7 entire horror franchises before the month is over! Today, we're looking at one of my all-time favorite horror films, Paranormal Activity (2009). Interpreting the Scares #2 Final Destination #1 One my guiltiest guilty pleasure series of all time was the Final Destination saga, a franchise that wasn't exactly made incredibly well, but is a HECK of a lot o fun.

Interpreting the Scares #5 The Human Centipede #1 One series I've never seen, but have always been morbidly curious to check out has been The Human Centipede. We'll see if it's as horrific and disgusting as people claim it to be.

Interpreting the Scares #6 Paranormal Activity #2 Next up on this scary month of films is the 2nd film on the Paranormal Activity side. When it comes to the sequels, I don't have as much experience watching them as I have with the original. Let's see if what I original thought of them still holds up to this day.

Interpreting the Scares #7 Resident Evil #2 This 2004 film continues the story set forth in the first Resident Evil film starring Mila Jovovich. This raises the stakes by taking the T-Virus out of the confined space of the Hive from the first film and expands it to the city outside.

Interpreting the Scares #8 Final Destination #2 Now, when it comes to this entire series, this is a favorite among fans because the initial freak accident is one of the most memorable and well-done sequences in the entire series (the traffic accident), and as such, it's important to ask which one of these movies...is the best?

Interpreting the Scares #9 Fright Night #1 Next up on this month of spooks is Fright Night, a series I've never seen before, and so I was excited to watch yet another horror classic for the first time...but is it everything I've ever dreamed of?

Interpreting the Scares #10 Cube #1 Now for a trilogy of films that I don't think many people are aware of. This is a ver simple-plotted horror movie about a group of people that find themself trapped in a number of cuboid-shaped rooms with a door on each floor, ceiling and wall that leads to another room exactly like it, and some of those room have a death trap that's invisible to see with the naked eye, so they have to solve riddles to go from one room to the next.
