Overview

Ryuji Rido was the head chef at a prestigious ryotei in Hakodate. However, following a takeover, he was forced out of the restaurant and became a wandering chef—commonly known as a ‘nagare-ita’—drifting from kitchen to kitchen across the country. Six chefs, drawn to Ryuji’s culinary skills and cheerful nature, had been working under him; but following this turn of events, they too become ‘wandering chefs’, scattering across the country on journeys of culinary training. Wataru Myojin, who had been in charge of grilling under Ryuji, joins him on his travels as his partner. What awaits them wherever they go…
