In the slums of Bhopal, a failed drug with disastrous side effects, S93R, finds its way into Mangu's family. Dr Saira Sabharwal joins Manthan hospital and challenges the status quo.

The drug trials cause adverse effects on Dr Vivek Shekhawat's patients. At Manthan, Dr Shindey and Dr Gauri Nath lock horns over the latter's dream project.

Saira gets embroiled with the affairs of an S93R victim and confronts Vivek. Meanwhile, Gauri meets the head of Vayu Pharma with an offer.

Mangu's family meets an activist, OP, who tells them about the drug trials. When all doors close for Vivek, he plans an exit strategy and meets Gauri.

As Deepali's past and her connection to Roma is revealed, Gauri gets challenged by the Chief Minister and Dr. Shindey. Mangu takes a risky step to save his mother.

While Saira's husband, Neil, begins his assignment on the Bhopal gas tragedy, Gauri decides to topple the CM. Tired of his situation, Mangu involves Deepali in his next move.

The history between Gauri and Roma is explained, and Saira digs deeper into the S93R trials. Later, Gauri, Pratap, Saira and Neil meet for dinner.

With Gauri's plans moving closer to fruition, Deepali struggles as the experiment advances to the next stage. Saira's home life takes a hit when Neil questions her.

Saira meets Mangu in a tragic turn of events and learns about the trials and the trauma. Meanwhile, Deepali faces the consequences of her rebellion.

Saira reveals the truth to everyone, which puts Gauri in a bind. Deepali and Mangu decide they have had enough and extract their pound of flesh.
