After surviving an IED explosion in Afghanistan, Travis Mills became one of the only quadruple amputees in US military history. While struggling to find purpose in the aftermath, he and his family band together to recover and help others along the way.

In the 1980s and 1990s, a high school teacher gave students an assignment to write a letter to themselves in the future. Decades later, they receive messages from their teenage selves and reflect on the lifelong impact of this extraordinary educator.

After immigrating to the US at 21, Hakki Akdeniz found himself homeless on the streets of New York City. Through the kindness of strangers, he was able to find work and eventually fame by winning the World Pizza Games at the International Pizza Expo.
