After slapping a police officer in the face, Nayer seeks shelter in a coffee house where the owner would protect her against the police officer.

Ghanbar proposes to Nayer, invites her to spend a couple of nights in the café, and when she gets pregnant, denies that he is the father. Tala gets arrested.

Upon the death of her father, Nayer starts living in a beggar's house, while looking for a new job. When she finally finds a job in a tannery and moves out of the beggar's house, the owner of the tannery proposes to marry her.

Nayer starts working in a theater. The best actor of the theater falls in love with her and proposes, Nayer refuses and decides to leave the place but the owner encourages her to stay.

Crossing the street, a car hits Nayer and she dies. Enayat adopts her son and raises him as an actor. Iranian revolution changes their working condition.

Ghanbar tries to lure Bolbol into leaving the group and start singing in the wedding ceremonies. Enayat reveals to Bolbol that he is not his real father.

A female theatre student named Toloo seeks Enayat in order to interview him. Bolbol starts singing in wedding ceremonies, smoking drugs before to get

Enayat finds out about Bolbol's drug use and threatens Ghanbar that he will kill him. Outside the coffee house, while Toloo is following Enayat, cops arrest him, finding drugs in his pockets that he doesn't know anything about.

Bolbol approaches Toloo in order to get back to his father. Enayat asks Toloo to make Bolbol fall in love with her.

Toloo conducts an interview with Bolbol. Ghanbar is afraid that the interview might reveal some bitter facts about him, so he reacts in a harsh way.
