This documentary series marked the second anniversary of the Irish Government signing the Irish bank guarantee on September 30th 2008, a 440 billion euro gamble that no other sovereign state had tried before.

Episode two looks at Ireland's domestic crisis at the time of the banking guarantee and charts the course taken by politicians, bankers, regulators and developers that precipitated the crash.
