This week, host Jeremy Wells travels to Minnesota to witness the pomp and protest at the Republican National Convention. While John McCain and Sarah Palin preach to the converted, Wells talks to the delegates. However, his unconventional questions prove to be his undoing and he finds himself detained by the Minnesota State Police.

In this week’s Eating Media Lunch Special, presenter Jeremy Wells dissects the madness and mayhem of the 2008 New Zealand election aided by some of New Zealand’s leading psychics and astrologers. Wells also travels to the Kingdom of Tonga to witness the coronation of George Tupou the 5th and to discover for himself the truth about this much maligned monarchy. Much has been made of the pomp, pageantry and poverty surrounding the lavish coronation and Wells discovers some surprise celebrity guests. He also meets the winner of the inaugural Tonga’s Next Top Model.
