Davey and Goliath

Feeling rejected, Davey imagines a world without other people, including Goliath. He quickly decides this world is not for him!

After being slothful and lazy, Davey gets a dose of his own medicine; Davey quickly learns that helping others around the house is a way of showing love.

Davey decides he wants to be a champion bowler and Sally wants to be a concert pianist, two very different careers.

Davey finds ten dollars and wants to spend it on a birthday present for Goliath, but whose is it?

Davey's geography lesson on Australia is very amusing at first with its dingos and kookaburras, but he soon tires of it and doesn't study for the test. He resorts to cheating, but that night his conscience begins to bother him.

Davey thoughtlessly pours paint down a well. When he sees how others suffer because of his misdeed, he realizes that everyone is responsible for taking care of God's world.

Davey learns "the hard way" at the natural history museum that grownups have rules "for your own good."

Davey's friend Larry has a little trouble with his French and starts smashing up the classroom furniture. Davey reminds him of the school cheer, and helps him prepare for a test next day.

Fascinated by pirates and buried treasure, Davey buries a tin box containing the Jickets club treasury. When a hard rain washes away the box, Davey replaces the money.

Trying to prove he isn't a chicken at heart, Davey attempts a dangerous leap and winds up in the hospital.
