Vincent Lam is an American-born-Chinese freelance music producer in Los Angeles looking for his big break. Carmen Lee is an account executive working at her father’s advertising agency in Hong Kong. When they simultaneously witness a cosmic phenomenon, they both awake with each other’s voices in their head.(Please turn subtitles on for best viewing experience)

Vincent and Carmen have made contact. Unable to explain the bizarre connection, they each attempt to seek solutions but come up short. Vincent and Carmen desperately try to act normal while it becomes increasingly difficult to ignore each other. The connection ruins both their plans with Vincent going on a group date and Carmen planning a brunch for her best friend. Vincent and Carmen begin to accept the unexplainable connection as something they can’t ignore. They adjust to secretly hearing and communicating with each other. As they embark on their own respective trips with friends, Vincent and Carmen determine boundaries to maintain some sense of privacy and normalcy in their lives. Vincent and Carmen learn to enjoy every aspect of the connection, sharing moments and outings with each other. Their burgeoning friendship reveals their deepest vulnerabilities, fears, and insecurities. After a confrontation with one of her biggest fears, Carmen is left in shambles and lashes out at Vincent, who is only guilty of being a friend. That night, Carmen has an intense flashback dream. Meanwhile, Vincent unknowingly experiences the same dream. He gets up disoriented, slowly realizing he is no longer in his room in Los Angeles.(Please turn subtitles on for best viewing experience)

Vincent and Carmen wake up suddenly swapped in each other’s bodies– shocked at the latest development of their connection. They try to reach each other but the connection is completely GONE. As they navigate through the other’s life, they both gain new perspective and confidence. The next morning, Vincent and Carmen wake up swapped back in their own bodies– relieved that the swap wasn’t permanent but appreciative of the learning experience. Once again, they try to reach each other but realize the connection is still gone.
