Corneil & Bernie

Bernie has been promoted! He’s now a dogstitter AND a babysitter. It’s going to be so easy! Rocky looks really sweet and the only thing Bernie has to check is that he doesn’t eat chocolate. Simple! Bernie just sits him on the floor of the living room and starts playing video games. Of course, Rocky finds a way to eat chocolate and gets out of control! Corneil and Bernie will have to find a way to hide the situation from Mrs. Solo and Rocky’s grandma who is about to come back!

Penelope and her dog Clovis have been absolutely silent for days! To Penelope’s mother, Bernie seems to be such a perfect dogsitter that she offers him a lot of money if he finds a way to make Clovis bark again and therefore Penelope talk. But everything he tries is a failure, so Corneil decides to help him. While he experiments a new method on Clovis, Corneil hypnotizes Bernie who starts acting like a dog!

Corneil, under the nickname of Buttercup, secretly chats a girl named Eglantine on the internet. He really likes her but since he doesn’t want her to know he’s a dog, they promised each other no to meet. But when he discovers Corneil’s secret passion, Bernie pretends to be Buttercup and makes a date with Eglantine who’s not exactly what she’s supposed to be…

Bernie is totally downcast: Romeo has the best scooter he’s ever seen in his life and there is no way Bernie can win the scooter race tomorrow! Bernie buys himself the scooter of his dreams without realizing that it’s a scooter for girls. The scooter’s basket is so cozy that Corneil doesn’t warn him! Bernie now has no other choice than to win the race to shout down all the students that are making fun of him.

On April fool’s day, Bernie is trying everybody’s patience with his jokes. To prove to Corneil that he’s wrong and that his jokes are not kinder garden level, he makes uncle Rico believes that he won the lottery! Overjoyed, uncle Rico announces to Bernie that he gives up his whole life to live his dream in Haiti. How will Corneil and Bernie find a way to fix the damage they’ve caused?

Corneil asks Bernie to bring his urinary test to the veterinary clinic. Bernie spills the whole jar on his way to the clinic and decides to replace its contents by his own urine. When the verdict is announced, what a catastrophe! The doctor is categorical: Corneil has to be on a strict diet if he wants to avoid heart attacks. Bernie freaks out and asks to be on the same diet, which is going to be much harder than he was expecting.
