Overview

Bobby Bumps & his dog Fido star in a series of cartoons directed by Earl Hurd from 1915-1925. Initially produced at Bray Studios, it was the first cartoon to use cel animation. After Hurd left Bray in 1919, he kept control of the Bobby Bumps character and continued producing the cartoons, first with Paramount and then with Educational Pictures.

Love's Labor Lost

An elephant cop is flirting with a Hippopotumus girl in the park. Nervy Ignatz stands up to him, and scares him off, impressing the girl. Meanwhile, the cop fortifies himself with "Beevo", and returns to stomp Ignatz. Krazy takes Iggy for dead, and serenades his memory, but he's still alive enough to throw bricks.
