Becoming Superhuman

Riley lives with severe cerebral palsy. It means he has no voluntary control over any part of his body, except his eyes. Biomedical engineer Dr Jordan Nguyen"s aim is for Riley to take control of the technology in his environment using only his eyes. Can this effort succeed?

Jordan will have to ask even more of Riley when it comes to driving. To steer a car, Riley will use his eyes via Jordan’s headband device, so he won’t be able to see oncoming obstacles. Riley will have to train his brain to respond to vibrations that are transmitted from sensors on the car.
