Overview

The festive atmosphere of the first Sunday after the Carnival is soon disrupted when Penha's son goes missing. Certain that his disappearance can only be the work of the militia commanded by former police officer Quirino, an old dislike, Penha will soon find out the consequences of doing justice with her own hands.
