Overview

On August 15, 2015, the Society of Professional Journalists held a mediated panel in Miami, Florida. The event was disrupted by ten bomb threats in one day, forcing the evacuation of the venue and surrounding city block, yet received little national media attention. The subject was the GamerGate controversy, later described by The New York Times as having “changed the way we fight online.” Airplay documents that discussion, with narration by James “Grim” Desborough.
