A Stand Up Mother

Comedian Tammy Pescatelli balances the roles of being a mother, wife and entertainer, all from the confines of Meadville, Pennsylvania. Tammy's put to the test when she throws a combination wedding and baptism party - a wedtismal.

Tammy and family head to Brooklyn to visit her mother-in-law, Rose. Tammy takes this opportunity to get closer to her demanding mother-in-law with a bonding-through-cooking session in the kitchen, and going on a trip to Ellis Island.

Tammy gets a call from her manager telling her about auditions for pilot season, and that she needs to get in "LA fighting shape." But what she discovers along the way is that more important than being ready for LA is being ready for her own life.

Having to go out of town for a stand-up gig, Tammy has no choice but to leave husband Luca in charge of their son's birthday party. Tammy begs to keep the party simple, but Luca has his own agenda to throw a party Little Luca won't soon forget.

After a less-than-successful open house, Tammy and Luca seek out a new realtor. But with an upcoming stand-up gig at the Cleveland Improv, it's a race against the clock to fix up their old home before the next showing.

Tammy and Luca try to turn a work trip into a romantic weekend in Las Vegas after she books a gig at the Palms Hotel. But the couple's romantic plan is sideswiped when Tammy's mother-in-law Rose and the rest of the family join in on the fun.
