Zafer Davutoğlu , (1934, Istanbul - 1996, Istanbul), Turkish director, screenwriter and producer . During his career from the 1960s to the 1990s, he directed 36 movies, and also directed, produced, edited and wrote the screenplays of many more movies. He first started working as an assistant decorator at İpek Film Studio in 1950, when he was only 15 years old. In 1953, he worked as a camera assistant at Acar Film Studio.
