Biography

A fellow townsman of Andrei Tarkovsky, he is now regarded as one of the most celebrated film directors of all time. His films were characterised by a unique, contemplative and introspective quality, in which themes such as existential philosophy, religion and absurdism converge. His greatest classic of all time is the immortal film The Father’s Farm.
