Biography
Evgeniy Mikhailovich Pomeshchikov is a Soviet screenwriter and teacher. Laureate of the Stalin Prize, first degree (1948). Born in Yuzovka, Ekaterinoslavskaya guberniya, Russian Empire. In 1929 he graduated from the literary department of the Institute of Public Education in Odessa, in 1936 - the screenwriting department of VGIK.
