Biography

Geiger had already made his first contacts with film during his theater days and in 1912 he served as assistant director to Max Reinhardt in his early production of Das Mirakel . Eventually, Wolfgang Geiger finally switched to film and worked first (before 1914) as an author for the Viennese branch of the French company Éclair and then as a film consultant for the Viennese trade journal Kinematographic Rundschau .
