Vera Nemirova

Biography

Born in Sofia, Vera Nemirova has been living in Germany since 1982 and made her debut at Oper Frankfurt in 2006/07 with this production of Tannhäuser. She returned to direct our wonderful new Ring (2010 - 2012) which has been captured on CD and DVD (OehmsClassics). She recently directed Otello at the 2013 George Enescu Festival in Bucharest and Lohengrin at Theater Basel.
