Viswanathan Ravichandran also known as Aascar Ravichandran) is an Indian film producer and distributor in Chennai (Formerly Known as Madras), India. He is the founder and owner of the production and distribution company, Aascar Films. Ravichandran started his venture in 1998 with co production of Kadhalukku Mariyadhai. Ravichandran had to change the company name, Oscar Films, in the spring of 2008, after receiving a cease and desist order from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He …
