Biography

Thimios Bakatakis, born in 1970 in Athens, Greece, is a Greek cinematographer known for his work with director Yorgos Lanthimos. A graduate of the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos. Like most of Lanthimos’ collaborators, Bakatakis knew him from a commercial advertising agency in the 1990s.
