Suat Yalaz was a prominent Turkish comic book artist, screenwriter, and film director, best known as the creator of the character Karaoğlan. Born in Çiçekdağı, Kırşehir, Turkey, he began his career as a caricaturist and comic artist, gaining attention with the debut of 'Karaoğlan' on January 3, 1962.
