Stephen Steelman, a Los Angeles-based director, just received his MFA in directing from the American Film Institute. His thesis film, WHAT IF WE COULD STAY, stars Jillian Bell (from 22 Jump Street & Workaholics) and Gloria Cole (Nope, Legion).
