Biography

Sofia Voss is a writer, director, and editor whose Missouri heart currently resides in NYC. Voss strives to create a canon of queer Midwestern cinema, playing with expressionism and magical realism to create a tapestry of the social, political landscape of America’s heartland. She is also an avid genre enthusiast, using and abusing comedy, horror, and romance to make her films accessible and engaging.
