Sigri Mitra Gaïni is a notable Faroese poet, actress, and school teacher, born in 1975 in Oslo, Norway. With a mother from the Faroe Islands and an Iranian father, Gaïni's diverse heritage has profoundly influenced her artistic expression. She pursued her education at a film school in Denmark and later the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London, alongside studying philosophy at the University of Copenhagen.
