Originating from Bangladesh, Shakib Hossain pursued his passion for storytelling at the University of Dhaka’s Department of Television, Film and Photography. His decision to study filmmaking was born out of a deep love for cinema, a path he chose over many others. Shakib’s journey began in 2014, when as a sixth grader he developed a nightly ritual of watching one film before bed.
