Biography

Sebastian Bocanegra was born in Trujillo, a coastal town eight hours north of Lima, Perú’s capital. He discovered filmmaking through frequent movie outings with his parents, where he fell in love with the endless worlds cinema could open up. From a young age, Sebastian knew he wanted to become a storyteller. At 17, he began his studies in Liberal Arts at Queens College in New York, USA.
