Biography

Ruth Rose (January 16, 1896 – June 8, 1978) was an American screenwriter known for various adventure films produced by RKO Radio Pictures, including King Kong (1933), Son of Kong (1933), She (1935) and Mighty Joe Young (1949). An academic writer and explorer before her career shift into film, she met her future husband, director Ernest B.
