Biography
Ruby Yang is a Chinese American documentary film director and producer. She, originally from Hong Kong, relocated to San Francisco in 1977 and earned a degree from the San Francisco Art Institute with a focus on Painting and Filmmaking. Yang has been actively involved in creating documentaries and feature films, including the Oscar-winning film The Blood of Yingzhou District (2006) and A Moment in Time (2010), a documentary that explores San Francisco’s Chinatown through its theatres and movie e…
