Biography

Ronnie James Wilson was the multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and co-founding member of the legendary R&B and funk group The Gap Band, which he formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma alongside his younger brothers, Charlie and Robert Wilson. Known as the steady anchor and creative architect of the band's signature electro-funk sound, he passed away at the age of 73, following a stroke.
