Biography

Before turning to screenwriting, Robert Orr traveled through Bosnia and Croatia during the Yugoslavian Civil War, working first as a photographer and later as an aid worker helping to rebuild homes damaged from fighting. He also worked at the massive DaDaab refugee camp on the Kenyan/Somali border. "Savior" is based on the true story of an ex-Foreign Legion sniper that Robert met while in Bosnia.
