Robert Bierman

Biography

Robert Bierman is an English film and television director. He is best known for the 1988 cult film Vampire's Kiss starring Nicolas Cage and María Conchita Alonso. Bierman was originally the scheduled director of The Fly (1986), but due to personal tragedy was unable to commit to the project. In television, he has directed episodes of Waking the Dead, Holby City, The Bill, and The Inspector Lynley Mysteries.
