Biography

Rashwan Tawfek is an Egyptian actor who was born in Sayyeda Zeinab, Cairo in 1933. He got his Bachelor’s degree in acting and directing from the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts and after graduating worked in Egyptian TV. After this, he joined a TV theater troupe that was getting started, and during this period of time was the star of a number of plays, including: “Sheia’ Fi Sadri” (Something in my Chest), “El Showaria El Khalfia” (The Backstreets), “Thawra Qareya” (Revolution of a Village), “…
